Let's Talk

Are you finding it hard to engage with those closest to you? Have you been noticing things in everyday life are more difficult to manage? Are you struggling with unresolved trauma or pain from your past? Feeling out of sorts can happen to the best of us. You are not alone. We can tackle these challenges together as we explore the change that moves you closer to the life you desire. My approach to counseling is a collaborative method to identify and facilitate change with my clients. I have a strong belief in the therapeutic relationship and will strive to meet my clients where they are as they encounter issues. We will work together to establish reasonable and attainable goals that will direct our path through therapy. I have been trained in a variety of evidence-based intervention techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused/brief therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. My clinical experience includes anxiety and mood disorders, trauma informed care, and addictions/substance abuse treatment. I believe that each person is unique, resilient, and holds an intrinsic ability to heal. Life can often feel overwhelming. Counseling provides an opportunity to face life's obstacles with a guide. You deserve a compassionate therapist. Someone to make you feel safe, secure, and connected while guiding you through the healing process. My goal is to support and promote lifelong change that will allow you to form healthy relationships and foster an overall sense of wellbeing. Often, I draw on my life experience to inform care. I was raised Christian and I have a large blended family with six children. It's never a dull moment! I have extensive experience with conflict resolution and crisis management gleaned from a full career as a first responder. I have worked with families from all walks of life and I strive to integrate cultural perspectives into my approach. By visiting my website you have already taken a huge step toward lasting change. Let's take the next step together. I offer a free consultation to give us a chance to get to know one another and discuss what is bringing you to therapy.
